The optometrist conducted a comprehensive assessment of my visual acuity and overall ocular health, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools. I was told Dr. Gorscak was "gifted", that was an understatement. I had a checkup, and then cataract surgery. Both were amazingly easy. His bedside manner is also exceptional. You're in your 60s and you need reading glasses to read your texts and emails on your phone. Sometimes you fake it and try to make a reservation at a coveted restaurant without really being able to see the small screen. You realize too late that your dinner reservation is for 7:30AM. Then you send a work email that is completely wrong. What's it worth to you to NOT make those mistakes? I'm lucky. I don't have to limit myself to the lenses that insurance covers. I can elect to have both eyes done at one time. I can choose any doctor so why wouldn't I pick the best. The one that has his own stand alone practice with his own surgical center. My mother had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gorczak yesterday. She was very nervous before her procedure, especially because she doesn't speak English. Dr. Gorczak took the time to speak with her in Spanish, explaining everything clearly and patiently, which made her feel comfortable and confident.
