We’re a surgical ophthalmology practice specializing in refractive cataract surgery and personalized vision care, serving Palm Beach County with concierge-level service and clinical excellence.
We’re searching for an Operations Manager to lead our clinic operations and join our leadership team. You’ll be responsible for running the daily engine of the practice: call center, patient services, and our clinical ophthalmic techs, and for driving the performance, culture, and accountability that supports our providers and our patients’ experience.
This role is perfect for a seasoned leader or a high-performing individual ready for the next challenge.
What You’ll Own
- Clinic operations from front to back — creating structure, solving problems, and ensuring the entire patient flow runs with excellence
- Team leadership — hire, coach, and support staff across the call center, patient services, and technical areas
- KPI optimization — team productivity, patient flow and access, clinic and surgical schedule optimization
- Process refinement — identify gaps, fix friction points, and fine-tune systems to support both patients and the clinical team
- Strategic alignment — work closely with our CEO, surgery center, and leadership team to support business goals and expansion
- Revenue cycle collaboration — ensure front-end processes are clean, accurate, and support billing success
You Could be a Strong Fit If You:
- Have 5+ years of leadership in a fast-paced, surgical specialty practice (experience in ophthalmology, dermatology, plastic surgery could all be fits for this role)
- Or: have been a standout lead as an ophthalmic technician or in patient services, and are ready to step into a bigger role
- Know how to lead by example, inspire accountability, and lead by example
- Understand EMR workflows (Nextech preferred) and front-end revenue cycle processes
- Thrive in environments where details, systems, and people all matter
- Communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose — especially when the pace picks up
- Are energized by making things better — for patients, staff, and the business
