Known for her commitment to personalized care and strong clinical acumen, she serves as a primary care physician for eye health, supporting patients through every stage of their visual journey.
Dr. Barto plays a vital role in supporting patients throughout their eye health journey, with a particular focus on post-operative care and chronic eye conditions. She brings extensive clinical experience in ocular disease management and serves as a trusted partner to both patients and their primary care providers.
Dr. Barto earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Akron and later obtained her Doctorate of Optometry and a second degree in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She also served as treasurer of the Beta Sigma Kappa National Honor Society.
Her rigorous clinical externships included work at prestigious institutions such as the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, Eye Centers of South Florida, and the NSU Eye Care Institute, providing her with in-depth exposure to advanced ocular disease management and specialized eye care.
Dr. Barto cherishes her life in Florida and actively participates in her local community. She treasures spending quality time with family, enjoying outdoor activities such as beach visits, stand-up paddleboarding, traveling, fitness pursuits, reading, and adventures with her dog, Dawson.
