How is Diabetic Retinopathy diagnosed?
Diabetic Retinopathy is diagnosed during a comprehensive dilated eye exam that includes:
- Visual acuity testing
- Tonometry
- Pupil dilation
- Optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Fluorescein angiography (in some cases)
